This dragon fruit smoothie has a unique flavor that is somewhere between a kiwi and a pear. The white color is something different from what you would normally see in a fruit smoothie and the black seeds add nice little pops of crunch.
Transfer to a glass and serve! Garnish with dragon fruit slices if desired.
Notes
I like to use the white dragon fruit but you can also use red. Be sure to look in the frozen section if you can’t find the type you’re looking for. Where I live, you can only find the red dragon fruit in pre-frozen bags, not fresh. The dragon fruit should be frozen anyway, so this saves you a step.
If you can’t find the red dragon fruit but still want that pinky color, you can find pink pitaya powder online or in stores. It’s basically just red dragon fruit that is freeze dried and made into a powder that has a beautiful, bright color and you only need one or two teaspoons. Simply add it to the white smoothie.
For the milk, you can substitute with a plant-based milk if desired.
For the vanilla Greek yogurt, you can pick a fruity flavor instead such as mango.
