Carrot Smoothie
This carrot smoothie uses just a few simple ingredients, combining the sweet and slightly earthy flavors of carrots with the natural sweetness and creaminess of bananas. The end result is a thick and delicious, orange-colored, vegetable smoothie.

- ½ cup dairy milk - or unsweetened non-dairy milk like almond, soy, oat, cashew etc.
- ½ cup fresh carrots - peeled and sliced
- ¾ cup banana slices - frozen
- 4-5 ice cubes
- ½ tablespoon honey - or agave nectar--optional
Add all of the ingredients to a blender. The sweetener is optional.
Pulse a few times and then blend on high speed until smooth. If you would like to add more carrots, feel free to do so.
Transfer to a glass and serve.
- You can customize it to make it vegan by using non-dairy milk and a plant-based sweetener.
- If you need more flavor you can add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
