Celery Smoothie

This celery smoothie incorporates celery as its main ingredient, which has a high water content and fresh, mild flavor. It’s blended with complimentary ingredients like banana, orange juice, cucumber and green apple.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup orange juice - unsweetened
  • ½ cup celery - chopped
  • ½ cup cucumber - chopped--peeling is optional
  • ½ cup green apple - chopped and frozen--skin on
  • ½ cup banana - sliced and frozen

Instructions
 

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth. Stop the blender and scrape down the sides as needed.
  • Transfer to a glass and serve!

Notes

  • For the cucumber, peeling is optional but I personally leave it on.
  • I also like to keep the apple peel on. It's all getting blended into a smooth concoction anyway.
  • Celery is easy to blend because it has a high water content.
