This celery smoothie incorporates none other than celery as its main ingredient, which has a high water content and fresh, mild flavor. It’s blended with complementary ingredients like banana, orange juice, cucumber and green apple.
While celery might seem like an unlikely smoothie ingredient, it offers a unique flavor profile and added nutrition. One of the main benefits of celery smoothies is their low calorie content. Including celery in your smoothies can add volume and a refreshing, crisp taste without adding too many extra calories or sugar compared to fruit.
Whether enjoyed as a refreshing breakfast, post-workout snack, or afternoon pick-me-up, this smoothie is a delicious way to fuel your body. It sure beats a cup of celery juice!
