Using a large glass, dip it into the maple syrup so that the rim is wet. Then, press the glass into the cinnamon sugar to coat the rim. Let it set for a few minutes while you make the smoothie.
For the Coffee Smoothie
Add all of the coffee smoothie ingredients to a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth.
Pour into the glass and serve immediately.

You can chill the brewed coffee in the refrigerator overnight or an hour or two before making the smoothie.
