Cranberry Smoothie

This delicious sweet-tart cranberry smoothie has festive flavors and takes only a few minutes to whip up. It gives cheerful, holiday vibes in a cup!

Ingredients
  

  • cup white cranberry juice - or orange juice if you can't find it
  • ¼ cup vanilla Greek yogurt - I use sweetened
  • ¾ cup frozen cranberries
  • ½ cup banana slices - frozen
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey - or to taste

Instructions
 

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender.
    ⅓ cup white cranberry juice, ¼ cup vanilla Greek yogurt, ¾ cup frozen cranberries, ½ cup banana slices, 1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey
  • Blend on high speed until smooth. Stop the blender and scrape down the sides as needed. Sweeten, to taste.
  • Transfer to a glass and serve!

Notes

  • I buy my cranberries frozen from the grocery store. You can also freeze fresh cranberries by placing them on a sheet pan and transferring to the freezer for a few hours, until frozen solid.
  • You can use fresh cranberries instead of frozen. The difference will be that the smoothie will turn out a bit less thick than it would with frozen cranberries.
  • Although it might be okay in the fridge for a couple of hours, I don't recommend waiting longer than that to consume the smoothie. The texture starts to degrade pretty quickly.
