Double Chocolate Smoothie

- ½ cup chocolate milk
- ½ cup vanilla yogurt
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup avocado - chopped and frozen or pre-frozen from the grocery store
- sweetener of choice - to taste
Add the chocolate milk, vanilla yogurt, cocoa powder and frozen avocado to a blender.
Blend on high speed until smooth. Scrape down the sides as needed. Add sweetener, to taste.
Transfer to a glass and serve.
- I find that frozen avocado needs a little extra blending time so make sure you blend on high speed until all of those chunks are nice and smooth.
- My go-to sweetener for smoothies is agave nectar. It blends nicely and has a neutral, sweet taste. I use about two tablespoons in this smoothie but you can sweeten yours to taste.
