Greek yogurt smoothie in glass with straw and chunks of coconut as a garnish.

Greek Yogurt Smoothie

Plain yogurt is the star of this Greek yogurt smoothie. It’s sweet and creamy with the addition of banana and coconut milk. If you like eating your Greek yogurt with a bit of honey then you’ll love this smoothie as it is basically that same combination in a glass.

Equipment

  • 1 blender

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons liquid honey
  • 1 cup bananas - sliced and frozen

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth. If you would like it to be thicker, add some ice and blend it into the smoothie.
  • Transfer to a glass and serve.

Notes

  • If you want a thinner and lighter smoothie, you can go with natural yogurt. I like Greek yogurt for its thicker, creamier texture and tangier taste.
  • I use canned coconut milk without additives or preservatives. You can substitute with another plant-based milk or regular cow's milk if needed.
