Mango strawberry smoothie in glass with fruit skewer and mint.

Mango Strawberry Smoothie

This mango-strawberry smoothie is a fruity, frozen delight that is perfect for a light breakfast or snack. You only need 3 ingredients to prepare it and if you have a few more minutes to spare, you can assemble a cute fruit skewer to garnish the glass with—totally optional.

Equipment

  • 1 blender

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup fresh orange juice - or passion fruit juice
  • ½ cup sliced strawberries - frozen
  • 1 cup mango chunks - frozen
  • fresh mint - optional garnish

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender jar.
  • Pulse a few times and then blend on high speed until smooth. If you would like it to be thinner, blend with another splash or two of the juice.
  • Transfer to a glass. Garnish with fresh mint and a fruit skewer, if desired. Serve.

Notes

  • You can substitute with passion fruit juice or any juice you have on hand and would like to use up, but orange and passion fruit are my favorite for this recipe.
  • If you're feeling the smoothie is too tart, sweeten it with some honey or agave nectar for natural options.
