This mango-strawberry smoothie is a fruity, frozen delight that is perfect for a light breakfast or snack. You only need 3 ingredients to prepare it and if you have a few more minutes to spare, you can assemble a cute fruit skewer to garnish the glass with—totally optional.

Mangoes and strawberries complement each other well because they offer a balance of flavors, textures, and colors. They are both naturally sweet fruits, but have slightly different flavor profiles: Mangoes have a tropical sweetness with hints of citrus, while strawberries have a more tart sweetness.

  • fresh orange juice – You can substitute with passion fruit juice or any juice you have on hand and would like to use up, but orange and passion fruit are my favorite for this recipe.
  • sliced strawberries – Frozen.
  • mango chunks – Frozen.
  • fresh mint – Optional garnish.

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender jar.
  2. Pulse a few times and then blend on high speed until smooth. If you would like it to be thinner, blend with another splash or two of the juice.
  3. Transfer to a glass. Garnish with fresh mint and a fruit skewer, if desired. Serve.

  • ½ cup sliced strawberries - frozen
  • 1 cup mango chunks - frozen
  • fresh mint - optional garnish
