Sweet Cherry Smoothie
In this cherry smoothie, we keep it simple and let the cherries shine with 3 simple ingredients. The sweet bing cherries, bananas and cherry yogurt provide the perfect combination of sweet and tart flavor.

- ½ cup cherry yogurt - can substitute with vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup cherries - frozen - I use bing
- ½ banana - sliced and frozen (about ⅓ cup)
Add all of the ingredients to a blender.
Blend on high speed until smooth. You might need to stop the blender and scrape the sides down once or twice.
Transfer to a glass and serve. Garnish with fresh cherries, if desired.
- I use the classic sweet bing cherries. If you are freezing your own, make sure you choose ripe cherries that are firm and plump in texture and deep/shiny in color.
- If you can’t find cherry yogurt, it is perfectly fine to use vanilla yogurt instead.
- If you want to sweeten the smoothie a little more, you can add a touch of agave nectar.
