Hi, Joss Dyckson here. Welcome to SoSmoothie!

A little about me:

I live in Saskatchewan with my husband, 2 kids and pet cat. There are a lot of farmers in the area, which means we are very lucky to have plenty of local produce to create smoothies with.

I am a big believer in enjoying things in moderation. I love my comfort food, but I also love eating healthy and exercising. I especially love starting my day with a smoothie, yoga or pilates and a walk later in the day.

After having a health scare when I was 19, I started to care and take notice about what I put in my body. I found smoothies easy to digest and tasty to get down so they were and are an easy choice for me.

My kids and I are always creating different smoothie concoctions and usually use whatever ingredients we have on hand. This way we are able to use up fruits and vegetables before they go bad.

About SoSmoothie:

This website is solely dedicated to busting out easy and delicious smoothie recipes. I share my best smoothie creations including fruit, vegetable, coffee/tea and dessert-style smoothie recipes.

All of the recipes have a serving size of 1. With the recipes on SoSmoothie I am considering one serving to be approximately 1.5 to 2 cups because one cup is never enough for me. This is equal to 12 oz. to 16 oz. or 355 mL to 473 mL.

Another thing to note about my smoothie recipes: I always list the ingredients in the order they should be added to the blender (unless I somehow forget the odd one) for a smoother blending experience. In a typical full-size blender jar, it’s always liquids first, leafy greens and then fruit chunks.

Not sure where to start? Here are a few of my favorites:

  1. Tropical Smoothie – With the tropical flavors of pineapple and mango, this recipe uses only 3 ingredients.
  2. Strawberry Banana Smoothie – This one is an absolute classic!
  3. Green Smoothie – A healthy, vegetable smoothie that actually tastes good.
  4. Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie – My top favorite dessert smoothie so far. Move over chocolate milkshake!

Want a Personalized Smoothie? If you have any smoothie ideas or want me to create a smoothie with specific personalized ingredients, send me your ideas! What combination do you want to see? You send me the fruit/veg combo and I will create the recipe. If I choose your idea, I will name the smoothie after you, either by first name or an appropriate nickname (e.g., The ‘Nickname’ Smoothie). I will let you know if I choose your idea and then be sure to share it with friends and family for bragging rights!
