Frozen blackberries are blended with grape juice, lime and Greek yogurt in this 4-ingredient blackberry smoothie. It has a beautiful, deep color and you know what they say about vibrantly-colored fruit: they tend to be rich in antioxidants, fiber and other nutrients.
I don’t want to offend the other fruits, but blackberries are my favorite for smoothies. They have a deep color and flavor with little bits of blended up seeds. If you’re also digging the berries, I have a multi-berry smoothie and acai berry smoothie that you might like.
🥤Ingredients
- grape juice – No sugar added.
- lime juice – Freshly squeezed.
- Greek vanilla yogurt – Try 2% yogurt if you want to keep the fat lower. I personally don’t like zero fat dairy products but you can certainly use them in this smoothie if you prefer it or follow that type of diet.
- frozen blackberries – You should be able to find them in the frozen section at the grocery store. If not, freeze your own by spreading them out on a sheet pan and popping them into the freezer for a couple of hours.
🥣How to Make a Blackberry Smoothie
- Add the ingredients to a blender.
- Pulse until smooth.
- Transfer to a glass and serve.
Tip: If you would like a thicker smoothie, simply add more frozen blackberries. For a thinner smoothie, add some more grape juice.

Frozen berries are great for smoothies because they help thicken and chill the smoothie. They will take a little bit longer to blend than fresh.
