Pineapple Smoothie

Sharing is caring!

If you’re looking for ways to use up your ripe pineapple, freeze some chunks and try this tangy, creamy pineapple smoothie. For me, this feels like a weekend smoothie with its strong pineapple flavor reminiscent of a piña colada. Garnish it with a fresh pineapple wedge for extra tropical vibes. After all, we do eat first with our eyes.

Ingredients

Pineapple smoothie ingredients prepped on grey background.
  • pineapple juice – Pure/no added sugar. Watch the ingredient list because sometimes pineapple juice has a mixture of other juices. I like to get the kind that has pineapple juice only and no added sugar.
  • lime juice – freshly squeezed
  • plain Greek yogurt – I use Greek yogurt that is 10% M.F. but if you want to go with a lighter Greek yogurt, that is perfectly fine.
  • frozen pineapple chunks
  • frozen banana slices
  • fresh pineapple wedge – optional garnish
