If you’re looking for ways to use up your ripe pineapple, freeze some chunks and try this tangy, creamy pineapple smoothie. For me, this feels like a weekend smoothie with its strong pineapple flavor reminiscent of a piña colada. Garnish it with a fresh pineapple wedge for extra tropical vibes. After all, we do eat first with our eyes.

🍍Ingredients
- pineapple juice – Pure/no added sugar. Watch the ingredient list because sometimes pineapple juice has a mixture of other juices. I like to get the kind that has pineapple juice only and no added sugar.
- lime juice – Freshly squeezed.
- plain Greek yogurt – I use Greek yogurt that is 10% M.F. but if you want to go with a lighter Greek yogurt, that is perfectly fine.
- frozen pineapple chunks – You can either cut and freeze your own ripe pineapple or buy pre-frozen chunks from the supermarket.
- frozen banana slices – Bananas are very easy to freeze as well: simply slice and freeze. But you can also find these pre-frozen.
- fresh pineapple wedge – Optional garnish.

🥣How to Make it
Step 1: Add ingredients to blender. Add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor.
Step 2: Pulse. Pulse on high speed until smooth.
Step 3: Serve. Transfer to a glass and garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge. Serve the smoothie!
